If you do not cancel your appt within 24 hours -this $30 is forfeited.  I do not have access to your credit card with this link. If you call to reschedule prior to the 24 hours before, you will not forfeit your $30 deposit. Massage

My Massage style combines relaxing and trigger point therapy styles of bodywork. Treatments may vary based on your needs: relaxation, therapeutic or various medical conditions.

Massage include oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of massage are believed to be wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced blood flow, and greater flexibility. When knots are found, pressure is applied and the areas around it worked to calm the muscles surrounding the knots. 

As with any massage, please tell your therapist if pressure is uncomfortable or needs changed.

TMJ/TMJD/ Headache Treatment

What is intra oral therapy for TMJ?

TMJ is the temporomandibular joints also referred to as TMJD - temporomandibular joint disorder. These joints are where pain can originate from the 2 joints that connect your lower jaw to your skull. 
Treatment consists of massage therapy to the neck, shoulders, facial, head and muscles of the mouth. Treatment will be focused on your chewing muscles, eliminating any trigger points, and pain referral areas by releasing tension in the fascia around the jaw, neck, head and face.

During this treatment session - I will do specific work on the muscles in your jaw, sides of the head, and neck muscles that impact this condition. This requires you allowing my gloved fingers inside your mouth for a short period of time. Yes, it sounds odd and unusual however, it is greatly effective in allowing your tight muscles to relax thus relieving the pain and pressure in your jaw and related areas. Next, I massage the neck & shoulder & back muscles that can also be affected if time allows. For most benefit, a course of regular treatments can be scheduled for a period of time, such as weekly for 6 weeks. Multiple treatment session packages are available - discount applies if paid up front.

Intra oral work can be added onto any 60/90 minute body session.

While receiving a traditional Swedish massage you will be given a guided chakra meditation.

Use of Essential oils and/ or a clearing with burning sage may be included depending on the individual.

Pregnancy Massage/Prenatal

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

Depending on term of pregnancy, various side lying positions along with bolsters and pillows maybe used for your comfort. Certain areas may be avoided as well. Guided Meditation can be included to session.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Therapy simply adds heated stones that are used during a  60 or 90 minute massage. Most often the stones are rubbed on the larger muscle groups while avoiding the joints. This deepens relaxation and promotes circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension in the muscles and stress. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating especially in our colder WNY wintertime.

Raindrop Technique® Treatment

In the RAINDROP session Meditation, Reiki, crystals and oils can be used. Typical sessions are 30-50 minutes total.

This is a light feathering type of massage on the back with energetic modalities incorporated.

Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has Chi/Qi also known as "life force", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Chi does not end, it can only change form.

This is a physical touch relaxation massage while working with energy as I see fit. I may remove my hands from your body while following my energetic flow.

Anytime you experience emotional upset or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field during the massage to help restore balance and flow. Sometimes essential oils and burning sage is utilized as well as cord cutting instructions given.
